Rybnoje ( Russian Рыбное , German Steinbeck ) is a place in the Russian Oblast of Kaliningrad . It belongs to the municipal self-government unit of the Guryevsk District in Guryevsk Raion .
Geographical location
Rybnoje is located twelve kilometers southeast of the oblast capital Kaliningrad (Königsberg) on the regional road 27A-025 (ex R 508 ) from Lugowoje (Gutenfeld) in the direction of Gwardeisk (Tapiau) and Znamensk (Wehlau) . The nearest train station is Lugowoje-Novoje on the Kaliningrad – Chernyshevskoe railway line (former Prussian Eastern Railway ).
history
The village formerly called Steinbeck was founded in 1379. The place provided with three goods was on April 30, 1874 Amtsdorf and thus eponymous for the district Steinbeck in the district of Königsberg (Prussia) (1939 to 1945 district of Samland ) in the administrative district of Königsberg in the Prussian province of East Prussia . In 1910 the rural community Steinbeck had 440 inhabitants, 94 in the manor district (noble) Steinbeck, 7 in Steinbeck-Anker and 73 in Steinbeckellen.
In 1923, Steinbeck-Anker was incorporated into the rural community of Steinbeckellen, and the Steinbeck estate district became part of the rural community of Steinbeck in 1928. Finally, in 1935, the rural community of Steinbeckellen was transferred to the rural community of Horst (no longer existing today) in the Löwenhagen district (today in Russian: Komsomolsk). The "remaining community" Steinbeck had a total of 815 inhabitants in 1939.
As a result of the Second World War , northern East Prussia and with it Steinbeck came to the Soviet Union . In 1947 the place received the Russian name Rybnoje and was assigned to the village soviet Selenopolski selski Sowet in Kaliningrad Raion at the same time . Later the place came to the Lugowskoi selski Sowet in Gurjewsk Rajon . From 2008 to 2013 Rybnoye belonged to the rural municipality Lugovskoye selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Guryevsk.

church
Steinbeck is an old church village. The Reformation found its way here very early . In the beginning the neighboring village (noble) Neuendorf (today located in the Moscow Rajon of the city of Kaliningrad ) was a subsidiary parish, then both places were combined to form a parish. The Protestant parish with its seat in Steinbeck used to be under the patronage of Altstadt (Königsberg) and was part of the Old Town inspection. In December 1542 Duke Albrecht (Prussia) carried out a visitation in the parish of Steinbeck-Neuendorf.
Until 1945 Steinbeck-Neuendorf was a parish in the parish of Königsberg-Land I within the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union .
Today Rybnoye is no longer a church village. The place is in the catchment area of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Kaliningrad (Koenigsberg) within the provost of Kaliningrad of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia (ELCER).
