Seppois-le-Bas (German Niedersept ) is a French commune with 1,378 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haut-Rhin department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Alsace ).

geography

The municipality of Seppois-le-Bas and its southern neighbor Seppois-le-Haut are located in the Largue valley . Since the 1980s, Seppois-le-Bas has developed into a center for the surrounding communities thanks to its central transport links. This is where the Delle - Basel country road crosses the Largtalstraße from Dannemarie to the Swiss border. Seppois-le-Bas is adjacent to the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté .

The community owned a train station on the Dannemarie – Pfetterhouse railway line .
