For a long time, Schwoben had the smallest town hall ( Mairie ) in France. This is indicated by a display on the 18th century bridge over the Thalbach, on which there is now a new town hall. Opposite the town hall is a stone book with the names of all the mayors of Schwoben from 1792 until today.

In the center of the village there are still remains of a bunker from the First World War.
