The West Pomeranian Voivodeship ( Polish województwo zachodniopomorskie ) is one of the 16 voivodeships of the Republic of Poland . It is located in the north-western part of the country and comprises the entire western part of the historical Pomerania as well as (in the extreme west) a small part of the historical West Pomerania and (in the southwest) a small part of the former Neumark .
