Alos ( Occitan Alans ) is a southern French municipality with 93 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Albi and the canton of Vignobles et Bastides (until 2015 Castelnau-de-Montmiral ). The inhabitants are called Alosiens .

location

Alos is about 30 kilometers west-northwest of Albi . Alos is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Itzac in the north and north-west, Loubers in the north and north-west, Cahuzac-sur-Vère in the east, Andillac in the east and south-east, Vieux in the south and south-west and Campagnac in the west.
