Asso is a municipality with 3572 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Italian province of Como in the Lombardy region . It is one of the 31 municipalities of the Comunità montana del Triangolo Lariano .

geography

The municipality includes the fractions Brazzova , Ca 'Nova , Fraino , Gallegno , Gemù , Megna , Mudronno , Pagnano and Scarenna . The neighboring municipalities are: Caglio , Canzo , Caslino d'Erba , Lasnigo , Rezzago , Sormano and Valbrona .
