Changfeng was a brand of automobiles from the People's Republic of China .

Brand history

The name was introduced by the Changfeng Group in the 1980s . After several renaming and a takeover by the Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group , the last company name of the manufacturer was GAC Changfeng Motor . The name was given up at the end of 2014 or in the course of 2015.

At the end of 2014, the subsequent Leopaard brand was introduced by Hunan Leopaard Motors . This company is again part of the Changfeng Group.

The sub-brand Liebao was often added to the name Changfeng . Liebao is the Chinese word for leopard .

First off-road vehicles were built under license from Beijing BJ2020 . They carried the codes CJY 6420 and CJY 5020 or CFY 2020 .

From 1995 the Mitsubishi Pajero was assembled. From this year the addition Liebao has been handed down. First of all, the codes CJY 6421 are known. In 1999 an open version came out, which was initially called CJY 6470 and from 2004 CFA 2030 . In 2000, seven-seater vehicles were added to the range, named CFA 6470 , CJY 6470 and CBA 2030 .

In 2002 the Feiteng and the SUV Heijingang appeared .

The Xianfeng presented in 2004 was produced from 2005.

The C 1 , presented in 2005, was supposed to be manufactured from 2006, but obviously did not go into series production.

The Changfeng Liebao CS6 followed in 2007 .
