The Epitaph World Tour was a world tour of the heavy metal band Judas Priest , which was originally announced as the final world tour. It started on June 7, 2011 in Tilburg , the Netherlands and ended on May 26, 2012 in London , Great Britain . It was the first tour without K. K. Downing , who announced his retirement from the band on April 20, 2011. He was replaced by the then 31 year old Richie Faulkner . Contrary to all rumors, Judas Priest announced that they will not "retire" after the tour.
The new album was called Redeemer Of Souls , but it wasn't released until 2014. In addition, this album also resulted in a great year and a half world tour.
The last concert of this tour, on May 26th 2012 at Hammersmith Apollo , London , was professionally filmed and recorded for a DVD.
