Location of Kreuzweg in Halver

Kreuzweg is a district of Halver in the Märkisches Kreis in the administrative district of Arnsberg in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

Way of the Cross is located south of the Halveran capital north of the Ennepe . Neighboring towns are Ober- and Niederbolsenbach , Hefendehl , Hulvershorn , Hagedorn and Ehberg . The place is on the district road 37 between the Halveraner main town and stop . A tributary of the Ennepe rises in the village.

East of Kreuzweg is the route of the disused Wuppertal Railway , which has been converted into a cycle and footpath here.

history

Kreuzweg was first mentioned in a document in 1820 or 1839, the time of origin of the settlement was probably around 1800. On the Prussian first survey from 1840 to 1844 the place is not yet recorded. Way of the Cross is a split off from Niederbolsenbach.
