Orpington (make of car)
Orpington was a British automobile brand that was founded by Smith & Milroy Ltd. from 1920-1924 . was made in Orpington, Kent . Smith & Milroy were also the British agent for the US car brand Overland .
Only one model was built, the Orpington 10/12 hp , also known as the Orpington 10.5 hp . The light, two-seater car had a side-controlled four-cylinder in-line engine with a displacement of 1.5 l from Coventry-Simplex . It had a wheelbase of 2,438 mm. Other components came from Ford Model T .
In 1924 the brand disappeared from the market.
