Attractions

  • Château Murat, formerly Château de Murat-Lestang, built before 1512
  • Saint-Ferréol church, first mentioned in 895
  • Moly-Sabata: The building was initially a hostel for boatmen, later a monastery and from 1890 a free school. The cubist Albert Gleizes rented it in 1927, bought it in 1938 and made it an artist center.
  • Suspension bridge Pont de Sablons (also: Pont de Serrières ) over the Rhône: In 1828 a (suspension) bridge connected the two places Sablons and Serrières for the first time. In 1931 it was replaced by a new building after a cable break, which was destroyed in 1944 by the withdrawing German troops. The current structure was opened in 1951.
