Saturn Award ceremony 1997

The 23rd Saturn Award ceremony took place on July 23, 1997. This year, for the first time, actor awards were given for television series . The award for the best television series was also divided into two categories (Network and Syndication / Cable). The most successful productions with three awards each were Independence Day , Star Trek: First Contact and Scream - Schrei! .
