Copa del Generalísimo 1965/66

The Copa del Generalísimo 1966/67 was the 63rd edition of the Spanish soccer cup competition , which takes place today under the name Copa del Rey .

The competition started on October 23, 1966 and ended with the final on July 2, 1967 at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid . The defending champion of the cup competition was Real Saragossa . Valencia CF won the title with a 2-1 victory in the final against Atlético Bilbao . Valencia qualified for the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1967/68 .
