Husen is a court in Halver in the Märkisches Kreis in the administrative district of Arnsberg in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

Husen is 315  m above sea level. NHN in northeast Halver above the Hälver . The place can be reached via a driveway from the federal road 229 near Heesfeld . Other neighboring towns are Ostendorf , the Heesfelder Mühle , Bochen and Neuenhaus .

The large forest area around the Raffelnberg is located south of Husen .

history

Husen was first mentioned in a document in 1521, but the time of origin of the settlement is presumed to be between 1050 and 1200 as a result of the clearing phase after the high medieval territorial formation. Husen was a split from Heesfeld.

1818 residents lived in the village. In 1838 Husen belonged to the Oeckinghauser peasantry within the Halver mayor . The place categorized as arable land according to the place and distance table of the government district Arnsberg had a house and a factory or mill at that time. At that time, 16 residents lived in the village, all of whom were Protestant.
