List of performers on the Neue Deutsche Welle
The list of performers for Neue Deutsche Welle includes music groups and solo artists from Neue Deutsche Welle , a German-language variant of punk and new wave that emerged from 1976 and reached its commercial peak in the early 1980s. The stylistic spectrum ranges from commercial to avant-garde. Artists are also listed, for whom this time was only a phase of their artistic creation, but the majority of the bands broke up after the rapid ebb of success.
Important labels , which were largely specialized in such bands, were z. B. Atatak (Düsseldorf), ZickZack Records (Hamburg) or No Fun Records (Hanover).
Note: Solo artists are sorted under their first names!
