Paul Mitchell

Paul Mitchell (born May 8, 1961 ) is an American politician . Since January 3, 2017, he has represented the state of Michigan in the US House of Representatives .

Career

Paul Mitchell grew up in Waterford , Oakland County . Between 1974 and 1978 he studied at Michigan State University . Between 1985 and 2012 he held senior positions at Ross Education, Limited Liability Company . Since 2011 he has been its chairman. He is married and has six children. He lives in Saginaw County .

Politically, Mitchell joined the Republican Party . In 2014, he ran unsuccessfully in his party's primary election for a nomination for the then congressional elections. In the congressional elections of 2016 he was in the tenth electoral district of Michigan against the Democrats Frank Accavitti in the US House of Representatives in Washington, DC chosen, where he succeeds on 3 January 2017 Candice Miller took that did not have a candidate.
