The newly promoted FC Lausanne-Sport was first league champion and was promoted to the Challenge League. FC Locarno also made it to the top.
Because Servette FC Genève was forcibly relegated to the 1st league from the Super League and therefore the 2nd team from Servette FC Genève was not allowed to play in the same league, only five instead of six teams relegated to the 2nd league interregionally . The beneficiary was the Étoile Sportive FC Malley , which thus remained in the first division.
