The Rangers reached the final for the 13th time since 1877 . The Killies won the final 2-0 with one goal each from John Aitken and Jimmy Williamson . The Scottish Championship in the same year won the Rangers for the 17th time in their club history. Kilmarnock was ninth in the table.
