The Soboth is a pass road on the southwestern foothills of the Koralpe (Slovenian: Golica ), near the triangle of Carinthia - Styria - Slovenia , the highest point of which is Koglereck at an altitude of 1347  m above sea level. To the east of the pass, at 1,080 m, is the Soboth reservoir , which is 3 km long and 1 km wide, the greatest depth of the lake is 80 m. In summer the lake can get up to 24 ° C. It serves as a storage facility for the Koralpe power plant .
