The VW Voyage is a sedan in small car format built by Volkswagen in Brazil for the Latin American market . It is based on the third generation of the VW Gol and is the successor to the VW Voyage I , which was built until 1996 and based on the first generation of the Gol.
The second generation is also exported to the Near and Middle East.
In Brazil, the car has either an in-line four-cylinder petrol engine with 1.0 liter or one with 1.6 liters. These engines come from the Gol and can be operated with alcohol and gasoline in any mixing ratio. There are three equipment variants available: Trendline , Comfortline and Highline . The latter is linked to the more powerful engine.
