The VW Viloran is a van built by SAIC-Volkswagen in China .
history
The vehicle was presented in November 2019 at the Guangzhou Auto Show . It went on sale in China in May 2020. The Russian market is to follow later. No sale of the series is planned in Central Europe. With a length of 5.35 m, the Viloran is Volkswagen's longest car model worldwide.
As an indirect predecessor model, the VW Routan , which was produced between 2008 and 2013 exclusively for the North American market in Canada , should be mentioned. Competitive models of the Viloran include the Buick GL8 and the Lexus LM .

The seven-seater car is based on the modular Modular Transverse of the Volkswagen Group . Van is powered by a two-liter TSI - petrol engine in two power levels. The Viloran is only available with front-wheel drive and a 7-speed dual clutch transmission .
