Loos also Loos-lez-Lille is a French city with 22,233 inhabitants (1 January 2017) in Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Lille and the canton of Lille-6 ( canton of Haubourdin until 2015 ).

Loos borders the city of Lille to the south-west and, together with Lille and several surrounding municipalities, forms a closed settlement pattern.
