Princeps was a British car brand.

Company history

The company began producing automobiles in 1920. The brand name was Princeps . Production ended in the same year.

The only model was the 10.5 HP . A four-cylinder engine from Coventry-Simplex was mounted in the front of the vehicle and powered the rear axle via a chain. The specialty was the friction gear. Two and four-seater touring cars and a delivery van were on offer .
