Saint-Florent (also: Saint-Florent-le-Jeune ) is a French municipality with 457 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Orléans and is part of the canton of Sully-sur-Loire . The inhabitants are called Saint-Florentais .

Saint-Florent is located about 48 kilometers east-southeast of Orléans in the Sologne . Saint-Florent is surrounded by the neighboring communities Lion-en-Sullias in the north, Saint-Gondon in the east, Coullons in the south and south-east, Cerdon in the south and south-west, Villemurlin in the west and Saint-Aignan-le-Jaillard in the north-west.
