Saint-Médard is a French commune with a population of 75 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Jonzac and the canton of Jonzac . The inhabitants are called Saint-Médariens .

Saint-Médard is located about 85 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux . Saint-Médard is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Champagnac in the north and north-west, Saint-Germain-de-Vibrac in the north-east, Mortiers in the east, Léoville in the south and south-east, Fontaines-d'Ozillac in the west and south-west and Ozillac in the west and north-west.
