Zinoro ( Chinese : 之 诺, translated: "The promise") is a car brand of BMW Brilliance Automotive , a joint venture between BMW and Brilliance China Automotive Holdings from Shenyang that was established in 2003 . The brand was presented at Auto Shanghai in April 2013 and specializes in electric cars .

Production and marketing were no longer known in July 2020. The website has the latest post from June 15, 2018 in the News section.

Zinoro 1E (2014-2016)

The Zinoro 1E (之 诺 1E) is the brand's first vehicle. It is based on the first generation of the BMW X1 and was only offered as an electric car.

The 1E was presented at the Guangzhou Auto Show 2013, between 2014 and 2016 the vehicle was sold exclusively in Beijing and Shanghai as a leasing vehicle . The drive is provided by the 125 kW (170 hp) electric motor familiar from the BMW ActiveE . The range of the 1E is specified as up to 150 km, charging the battery takes around 7.5 hours with a 16A wallbox. The top speed is electronically limited to 130 km / h.

Zinoro 60H (from 2017)

In August 2016 the first pictures of the Zinoro 60H (之 诺 60H) were shown. The successor to the 1E came onto the Chinese market in March 2017. It is a hybrid electric vehicle .
