The bridge runs over both S-Bahn tracks and in the second section over the long-distance train tracks, with a ramp in between.	cards

In 1951, a pioneer unit of the Soviet Army built the Stralau Bridge, a 218 m long road bridge on a wooden substructure, to the east of the Ringbahn Bridge. It established a road connection to the center of Berlin without having to cross the West Berlin district of Kreuzberg . In the 1960s, the sharp increase in traffic required an efficient new Spree crossing. In 1968 the current Elsenbrücke was put into operation, the Stralau Bridge was dismantled in 1970. Significant damage to the structure was found in the summer of 2018, so the bridge is demolished and is expected to be rebuilt by 2028.	cards
	Elsensteg	Neukölln	The pedestrian walkway, equipped with steps on both sides at the beginning, establishes a connection in the course of the Inn- / Elsenstraße and the Kiehl- / Weigandufer via the Neukölln shipping canal . The arch bridge consists of a clamped reinforced concrete arch on which the reinforced concrete walkway is elevated with brick pillars. A wrought iron ornament on both railings contains the lettering Elsensteg on bronze and the coat of arms of Neukölln underneath . The footbridge officially got its name on January 18, 1906, which goes back to the former Elsenbruch nearby ( Elsen = Low German name for Erlen , Elsenbruch = Erlenbruch ). It is very likely that the footbridge was built immediately before the name was given.	cards

It leads the Königsberger Straße over the canal. The current bridge was built between 1963 and 1965 as a girder bridge in steel composite construction. The structure has a total length of approx. 65.0 m and a width between the railings of 27.61 m. The actual bridge structure spans a span of 47.0 m. At the end of 2007, a profitability study was commissioned to answer the question: “Repair or new construction” of the bridge. From an economic and technical point of view, it was decided to repair the bridge structure. Immediately by the bridge on the south bank is a towing engine from the former towing system of the Teltow Canal in a glass house.	cards

In 1924, the first wooden pedestrian bridge with very steep wooden stairs was built in place of the previously existing level crossing. After the Second World War, the bridge was given flatter inclined stairs. In 1965 it was replaced by a steel structure with concrete steps. In 1983/1984, the new construction of the autobahn forced a new construction, consisting of a steel trough over the track system and two spindle-shaped ramps made of concrete. Its reinforced concrete deck rests on the upper flange of six steel solid wall girders, which are attached to the lower flanges at the level of the lower chords by riveted truss-like horizontal bracing. The bridge was named after the entrepreneur and Bergrat Eugen Kleine (* July 7, 1867, † July 31, 1928), who was buried in the Ostenfriedhof Dortmund . The bridge was at times the end point of the former tram line 71, which went into operation in 1925 ( Weißensee , Rennbahnstraße - Lichterfelde-Süd, Eugen-Kleine-Brücke). On the bridge is a memorial stone with a plaque in memory of the prisoners of the Lichterfelde subcamp of the Sachsenhausen concentration camp , which was located on Wismarer Strasse.	cards
