List of racing drivers used by Scuderia Ferrari in the Formula 1 World Championship (since 1950)
The team:
The Scuderia Ferrari (Italian "Rennstall Ferrari") is the motorsport department of the sports car manufacturer Ferrari , which is named after the company founder Enzo Ferrari .
When, after the Second World War, in 1950, with the introduction of the Formula 1 World Championship, there was again an international monoposto racing series, the Scuderia was an important factor from the start. Since then, it has been the only racing team to contest every Formula 1 season.
The racing series:
the Formula 1 is the automotive umbrella organization International Federation de l'Automobile (FIA) set formula series . Eligible teams design vehicles that comply with Formula 1 rules . As part of the Formula 1 World Championship, these cars compete in a predetermined number of races (per season) on various racetracks around the world. At the end of the season, the driver with the most points becomes the Formula 1 driver's world champion and the manufacturer with the most points becomes the constructors' world champion. The first to the "new Formula 1 World Championship" (after WWII) counting race was held on May 13, 1950 in Silverstone (England) as the Grand Prix of Great Britain.
Notes on the table:
- The list names racing drivers who have been / are used by the Formula 1 department of Scuderia Ferrari since 1950, both as "regular drivers" (formerly "works drivers") and as pure test or replacement drivers.
- Drivers who competed in Formula 1 races that were not part of the World Championship in the 1950s and 1960s are currently (as of 04.2020) not taken into account.
- Passages marked with (??) have not yet been finally verified.
- var. * = Up to and including 1973, the start numbers were assigned individually for each race.
- Pure "private drivers" who competed with their own vehicles or drivers who competed in Ferrari racing cars that were used by other teams (in the 1950s and 1960s) are currently (as of 04.2020) not taken into account, or with (? ?) marked.

Individual evidence
- ↑ Whitehead: Private customer vehicle, but in some races it started on behalf of Scuderia
- ↑ Gendebien: There was probably an agreement with ENB (Ecurie Nationale Belge) in which tire partner Englebert also played a role. The car was partly even painted yellow and registered by ENB, but looked after by the works team.
- ↑ Rodriguez R .: The races in the USA and Mexico ran nominally under the application of NART (North American Racing Tream), the cars were painted "American" white-blue, but in reality they were purely works cars.
- ↑ Rodriguez P .: The races in the USA and Mexico ran nominally under the application of NART (North American Racing Tream), the cars were painted "American" white-blue, but in reality they were purely works cars.
- ↑ Bondurant: The races in the USA and Mexico ran nominally under the application of NART (North American Racing Tream), the cars were painted "American" white-blue, but in reality they were purely works cars.
