Rade ( Low German : Raad ) is a municipality in the Steinburg district in Schleswig-Holstein .

Geography and traffic

Rade is about 5 km north of Kellinghusen in Aukrug Nature Park at the intersection of state roads L 122 of Rade of Bad Bramstedt and L 123 of Hohenwestedt by Kellinghusen. The rivers Stör , Bullenbach and Kirchweddelbach flow through the municipality.
