The Segunda División 2014/15 (officially Liga Adelante ) was the 84th season of the Spanish second division. The season started on August 23, 2014 and ended on June 21, 2015 with the final of the play-offs. Master was Betis Sevilla .

Before the season

The 22 teams met twice on 42 match days. The two best teams went straight to the Primera División . The teams in places three to six determined the third promoted team in the play-offs. Reserve teams were not eligible for promotion. The last four clubs were relegated.

Relegated from the Primera División took CA Osasuna , Real Valladolid and Real Betis part. Moved up from the Segunda División B were Racing Santander , Albacete Balompié , UE Llagostera and CD Leganés .

    In the play-offs, the teams in places three to six of the regular season take part. In the semi-finals, the third against the sixth and the fourth against the fifth. The winner of the finals qualifies as the third promoted player for the Primera División .
