The 2019/20 snooker season was a series of snooker tournaments that are part of the Main Tour .
Season results
After the exact composition was incomplete at the beginning of the season, the 2019/2020 coronavirus epidemic had an impact on the season in the final phase . The China Open was planned in the Chinese capital Beijing from March 30th to April 5th, 2020 . After the virus emerged in the country in early 2020, the WPBSA and World Snooker Tour announced in late January that the China Open would be postponed. In March, the pandemic reached Europe and resulted in the crowd being locked out at the Gibraltar Open . Thereafter, the game was suspended indefinitely.
The season resumed on June 1st. To this end, another edition of the Championship League has been rescheduled with a modified mode through various protective measures and rules of conduct. The outstanding Tour Championship and the World Championship were held on. New dates were set for this in June as well as in July and August. The China Open, however, were canceled.
