Don , in Dutch Donk , is a municipality in the French part of Flanders . It belongs to the Hauts-de-France region , the Nord department , the Lille arrondissement and the Annœullin canton . Earlier place names were Donz (1177) and Dons (1758).

The channeled Deûle flows through the Don .

Don-Sainghin train station is located in the municipality of Sainghin-en-Weppes . From there the railways lead to Béthune , Haubourdin and via Don to Vendin-le-Vieil .

Don is bordered by Sainghin-en-Weppes to the west and north, Wavrin to the northeast, Allennes-les-Marais to the east, and Annœullin to the south-east and south .
