Location of the burned in Overath

Burned was a district of Heiligenhaus in the town of Overath in the Rheinisch-Bergisches Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany . The place fell into desolation in the second half of the 20th century .

Location and description

The small courtyard place Gebrannten can only be found today as a note in older writings and maps. It was located on today's border with the Rhein-Sieg district near Großdorbusch , Kleinschwamborn , Dahlhaus and Durbuscher Straße.

history

The place did not emerge until the second half of the 19th century and is first recorded on the Prussian new recording from 1892 on measuring table sheets as burned and appears for the last time in the 1967 edition.

The municipal and Gutbezirksstatistik the Rhine Province leads Burnt 1871 with two houses and 15 residents. In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province of 1888, two houses with eight residents are given for burned people. In 1895 the place had two houses with nine inhabitants, in 1905 one house and eight inhabitants are given.

The Heiligenhaus address book only registers the blacksmith Mart. Joh. Bolz as a resident of the burned . The house numbering register created in 1907 only counts one house in Gebrannten . A widow Hombroch is named as the owner, and Wilhelm Oberscheid as the only resident.

According to the topographic maps, the site was demolished in the 1960s / 70s.
