Kleindresbach is a district of Steinenbrück in the town of Overath in the Rheinisch-Bergisches Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany .

The district of Kleindresbach can be reached via Landesstraße 136, which is called Olper Straße here and connects the Steinenbrück with Heiligenhaus . Nearby places are Großdresbach , Klefberg , Kleinschwamborn and Frielinghausen .

history

The Topographia Ducatus Montani by Erich Philipp Ploennies , Blatt Amt Steinbach , shows that the residential area had a courtyard as early as 1715, which is labeled as Dreswig . Carl Friedrich von Wiebeking names the court on his charter of the Duchy of Berg in 1789 as Klein Driesbach . It shows that at that time the place was part of the Löderich family in the parish of Overath.

The place is recorded on the topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1817 as Kl. Treisbach . The Prussian first recording from 1845 shows the residential area under the name of Kl. Dresbach . From the Prussian new admission of 1892, the place is regularly recorded on measuring table sheets as Kl. Dresbach or Kleindresbach .

In 1822, 14 people lived in the place categorized as a courtyard and designated as (Klein-) Treisbach , which after the collapse of the Napoleonic administration and its replacement belonged to the Overath mayor in the Mülheim am Rhein district . For the year 1830 a total of 56 inhabitants are given for Groß- and Klein-Treisbach . In 1845, according to the overview of the government district of Cöln, categorized as a courtyard and designated as Klein-Dresbach had four residential buildings with 30 residents, all of them Catholic denominations. The municipality and district statistics of the Rhine province lists Kleindresbach in 1871 with five houses and 22 inhabitants.

The list of inhabitants and cattle from 1848, according to which taxes were calculated, among other things, shows 24 inhabitants in Klein Dresbach , including eight children. It lists names and occupations of household heads: the Ackerer Peter Combs Rich, Franz Ferdinand and Merlevede Wermelskirchen. The latter was also active as a landlord and called most of the cattle his own: 1 horse, 2 cows, 1 cattle, 1 pig . The miner Mathias Trompeter and the day laborer Martin Zimmermann managed without cattle .

The municipality and district statistics of the Rhine province lists Kleindresbach in 1871 with five houses and 22 inhabitants. In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province of 1888, five residential buildings with 31 residents are given for Klein Dresbach . In 1895 the place had five houses with 22 inhabitants. 1905 five houses and 25 inhabitants are given.
