Hagen is a district of Marialinden in the town of Overath in the Rheinisch-Bergisches Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany .

Location and description

The district of Hagen is located between Landwehr and Federath on Landesstrasse 153. (Not to be confused with Hagen (Brombach) .) The next places are Lorkenhöhe , Krahwinkel and Hentgesnaaf . Vast corn fields and cultivated conifer stands with few individual houses indicate that Hagen is mainly used for agriculture. The area belongs to the wetlands and naturally belongs to the Marialinder Riedelland , in which - as far as agriculture allows - rare animals and plants live.

The place was only created in the second half of the 19th century. From the Prussian new admission in 1896, the place is regularly recorded on the measurement table as Hagen .

The municipal and Gutbezirksstatistik the Rhine Province leads Hagen 1871 with a dwelling house and four residents. In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province of 1888, a house with five residents is given for Hagen . In 1895 the place has a house with eight inhabitants and belongs denominationally to the Catholic parish of Marialinden, in 1905 one house and four inhabitants are given.
