history

Little is known about the Quellenbach Mühle , although it was still in operation as a grain mill until the 1950s. It does not appear cartographically and as a place to live until the second half of the 19th century.

The municipal and estate district statistics of the Rhine province lists threshold Bachmühle 1871 with one house and seven residents. In the municipality lexicon for the province of Rhineland from 1888, a building with six inhabitants is specified for threshold baker mill. In 1895 the place had a house with eight inhabitants and belonged denominationally to the Catholic parish Marialinden, in 1905 one house and nine inhabitants are given.

In 1950/51 a roller mill was installed by the mill builder Höller . Towards the end of the 20th century, some parts of the very small crown gear unit and the remains of the overshot waterwheel were still preserved and the building was restored by the Frielingsdorf family at that time .
