Klefberg is a district of Steinenbrück in the town of Overath in the Rheinisch-Bergisches Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany .

Location and description

Klefberg is a small residential area directly on the busy Landesstraße 136, which is called Bensberger Straße here . Places in the near are Kleindresbach , Großdresbach , Kleinschwamborn and Frielinghausen .

history

Klefberg only came into being in the second half of the 19th century. From the Prussian new admission of 1892 the place is regularly on the table sheets as Klefberg or Clefberg , until the end of the 20th century with the addition Whs. ( Tavern ), recorded.

The municipal and Gutbezirksstatistik the Rhine Province leads Clefberg 1871 with a house and six residents. In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province of 1888, a house with two residents is specified for Klefberg . In 1895 the place had a house with eight residents. In 1905 one house and eight residents are also given.

In the house numbering register of 1907, the widow of a Gerhard Merlevede is given as the owner of house no. 1 and resident there.
