The Moon & Stars is a concert series on the Piazza Grande in Locarno (Switzerland).

On Monday, July 7th, 2003 Good News Productions AG organized a REM concert on the Piazza Grande in Locarno . This event was planned as a test run and should provide information about whether it is economical to hold music events on the Piazza Grande. The REM concert was so well received that Good News Productions AG and Ringier launched the first Moon & Stars concert series in 2004 . Since then, acts have appeared in front of around 10,000 spectators on several days in July. Ringier took over the multi-day event completely from 2014 and the Energy Group has been responsible for the management of Moon & Stars since 2017. After a relaunch, the Energy Group introduced “Food & Music Street” as a supporting program. Between Piazza Grande and Lake Maggiore , she combines culinary specialties from all over the world with live music.
