Robert Buchet

Robert Buchet , (born May 8, 1922 in La Trimouille , † December 7, 1974 in Poitiers ) was a French racing car driver and racing team owner.

Career

The Porsche dealer took part in the Le Mans 24-hour race six times between 1961 and 1968 . In 1964 he won the GT class under 2 liters in a Porsche 904 GTS with partner Guy Ligier . In the same year he achieved another class victory in the Tour de France for automobiles .

He died in a traffic accident near Poiters in 1974.
