The 72nd Tour de Romandie 2018 was a stage race in Switzerland in Romandie / Western Switzerland . The bike race took place from April 24th to 29th, 2018 and was also part of the UCI WorldTour 2018 . It was the 19th of a total of 37 races.

Overall winner was Primož Roglič , who was already third in the prologue , took second place in the mountain time trial of the third stage and took the lead in the overall standings, which he defended on the following queen stage against all attacks by the second overall Egan Bernal . Thomas De Gendt won on the second stage after an escape over 167 kilometers and won the points and mountain classification of the tour.
