history
Krusenkrien
A boulder in the south-western forest, the name Löwenstein, comes from the vernacular, indicates an older settlement . It is a small bowl stone from the Bronze Age. Another similar stone is nearby, but without cult status. Krusenkrien was only mentioned in 1891. The name partly refers to the squire Wilhelm von Kruse. It previously belonged to Krien as a single farm. Then it was laid out as a Vorwerk for Gut Neetzow because of the vastness of the Krusen estates.
Since 1893 Krusenkrien had a siding on the Jarmen - Friedland small railway. Like everyone else in the area, this line was dismantled in 1945 as a reparation to the SU.
Gramzow
Gramzow was first mentioned in 1304 as Gramessowe . In 1574 the current name was used. The Slavic name comes from coarse or thick. Gramzow was a street village in shape and a farming village in terms of its function and owned a Dutch windmill northwest of the village between 1880 and 1920, according to MTB.
Krusenfelde
Krusenfelde was mentioned a little earlier than Krusenkrien in 1851. It was also laid out as a Vorwerk by the squire Wilhelm von Kruse on Neetzow. This Vorwerk also had a rail connection like the neighboring town.
