List of members of the US House of Representatives from Iowa
This list shows all politicians who since 1838 for the Iowa Territory later for the and the state of Iowa to the United States House of Representatives have listened. After joining the Union in 1846, the new state initially had two MPs, by 1933 the number rose to eleven. From 1993 to 2013 the state sent five MPs to Washington ; since 2013 there are only four. Except for the first election in 1846, which was carried out nationwide (“at large”), each was divided into electoral districts .
