history
Around 60 years ago a stone ax from the Neolithic Age was unearthed near today's school. Further evidence of settlement from Gallo-Roman times are the Pile de Montjoie , remains of a Roman villa and a tumulus. After that, the place disappeared into the darkness of history for centuries. Today's community was founded in 1343. In the Middle Ages, the place changed hands several times. The community belonged to the district of Auch from 1793 to 1801. It has been part of the Auch arrondissement since 1801. From 1793 to 2015 the municipality belonged to the canton of Vic-Fezensac (sometimes called Vic-sur-Losse).
