Deudesfeld ( phonetic spelling in Eifel dialect : " Deisseld ") is a municipality in the southwestern part of the district Vulkaneifel in Rhineland-Palatinate . She belongs to the community of Daun . Moselle Franconian is spoken in Deudesfeld . Deudesfeld is a state-approved resort .

Community structure

The community consists of the main town Deudesfeld and the district Desserath as well as the residential areas Hochscheiderhof, Jagdhaus Kurley im Speicherbachtal, Mausemühle and Turner Mühle.

history

Until the end of the 18th century Deudesfeld belonged to the electorate of Trier and was under the administration and jurisdiction of the Manderscheid office .

In 1794 the Left Bank of the Rhine was occupied by French revolutionary troops in the First Coalition War. From 1798 to 1814 Deudesfeld belonged to the canton Manderscheid in the Saar department .

At the Congress of Vienna (1815) the region came to the Kingdom of Prussia , Deudesfeld was assigned to the newly established Daun district in the Trier administrative district in 1816 and administered by the Weidenbach mayor .

After the Second World War , the Deudesfeld community within the French occupation zone became part of the then newly formed state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
