Attractions

Today's Saint-Georges church in Franconia was built in 1729. In the new building, parts of the old building were used, for example the portal of the sacristy and the side door of the nave , on the lintel of which the year 1701 is engraved. Renovation work was carried out in the 19th and 20th centuries.

The current watermill was built in the second half of the 18th century. An original mill was mentioned as early as 1629. Until 1931 the mill was owned by the same family of millers. Then she was abandoned. It is in very bad shape.

economy

The main occupations in Franconia are agriculture and the breeding of domestic cattle and domestic pigs.
