The state electoral district of Essen IV is a state electoral district in North Rhine-Westphalia . It includes the city ​​districts II, VIII and IX in the south of Essen .

The constituency was rebuilt for the 2005 state election. It emerged from the old constituency of Essen VI , which only consisted of VIII and IX. II formed with the constituency I Eating V . Essen IV initially (from 1980) only comprised the city district VII, in 2000 Huttrop and Frillendorf were added, together with VI they now form the Essen II state electoral district .
