Monclar ( Gascon : Montclar d'Armanhac) is a French municipality with 192 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Gers in the region Occitania (2015 Midi-Pyrénées ); it belongs to the Arrondissement Condom and the community association Grand Armagnac . The residents call themselves Monclarais / Monclaraises .
Monclar is surrounded by the neighboring communities Labastide-d'Armagnac (in the Landes department) in the north-west, north and north-east, Larée in the east, Lias-d'Armagnac in the south-east, Estang in the south-west and west and Mauléon-d'Armagnac in the north-west.
