Nizy-le-Comte is a French municipality with 244 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Laon and the canton of Guignicourt .

geography

The municipality is located 30 kilometers east of Laon and 35 kilometers north of Reims on the border with the Ardennes department . Immediately west of Nizy-le-Comte is the Camp de Sissonne military training area . The eastern municipality is crossed by the Barres river, also called Ruisseau de Nizy here .

The hamlets of Montigny-la-Cour and Le Haut-Chemin belong to Nizy-le-Comte .
