Couvron-et-Aumencourt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Remies in the north, Assis-sur-Serre in the north-east, Chéry-lès-Pouilly in the east, Vivaise in the south-east, Crépy in the south and south-west, Versigny in the west and Monceau-lès-Leups in the Northwest.

The Laon-Couvron military airfield is located in the south of the municipality .
