La Malmaison is a French municipality with 410 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Aisne department in the region of Hauts-de-France ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Laon and the canton of Guignicourt .

geography

The community is on the border with the Ardennes department , about 22 kilometers east of Laon and 30 kilometers north of Reims , north of Neufchatel-sur-Aisne west of the D 966. Immediately north of La Malmaison is the Camp de Sissonne military training area .

La Malmaison includes the hamlets of Frontigny, Magnivillers and Robertchamp.
